Hey everybody as per some of your requests I have spoke to my Rep at Ford Racing about being able to leave some feedback for the guys at Ford Racing about their parts.
They thought it was a good idea and will be periodically checking this post to see what your feedback is or if you have any good ideas for some parts for the Mustang you would like to see be made available!
So here is your chance leave some feedback and drop some ideas about what you think would be a great part for them to come up with.
Please keep all feedback and comments clean!
The gentlemen at Ford Racing will not respond back to any questions! They would like to be able just to come on the boards and see what you guys have to say. If they need to speak to you about an Idea of feedback they will PM you only.
Here's your chance make it a good one.
If you are not a member and would like to leave feedback to be seen just sign up!!

here is a gripe with ford racing, i put their shorty headers on and was not told by ford racing or the installer that the headers hit and bound up the steering shaft and i had to spend a lot of money on new engine mounts and labor to correct THEIR design error. i still think they owe me, for selling something that was dangerous to the inexperienced driver. i am thinking of putting in cams, make YOUR error good, give me a deal on the cams i cannot refuse

Question for you.. Did putting on new engine mounts correct the problem for you. Also disregarding your bad experience w/ install issues, Do you like the FRPP Shorty Headers?

motor mounts corrected the problem, the headers combined with the x-pipe and fr500s mufflers gave me the exhaust sound i have been looking for. if FRPP steps up to the plate and gives me a deal on the hot rod cams i will have a car that sounds like the muscle cars from the 60's
HP gains are around 3-4% with the headers

I like the way your car came out with the M-5230-S mufflers sounds good!

no matter where i go i am asked what is under the hood--- no one believes i am running a 4.6--- i am told that engine cannot produce the strong aggressive exhaust that my car has.
thanks again DOWNS FORD, Rick, Jim, and Bob ( the motorsport mechanic ) for helping me have a car that stands out from the rest

i did not think they would do anything--- to bad Downs ford back there products but ford racing does not back there mistakes

if your car is running fine after the install no retune is needed. i have been running the 62mm gt500 throttle body for over a year. i have talked with eric brooks and jdm performance and they have told me if all is running well no retune is needed

Jeff is correct about the re tune if all is well leave it alone. I know what your application is on your Shelby and I know you want the most out of everything so we would probably do like I said and run it over to Dwayne and have him check all parameters to make sure we can get everything out of it. Just let me know.
